Jurassic World trailer: 'She's killing for sport'

It's been a long wait for fans of the 1993 Jurassic Park film, but over 20 years later, the latest film in the long-lived franchise has finally arrived. The newest trailer for Jurassic World is darker than the first - showing audiences how dangerous the genetically-modified dinosaurs have become.

Starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, Jurassic World is set on Isla Nurbar, the island where a dinosaur theme park was opened in the 1990s before a power breakdown sets the dinosaurs loose. Now, the theme park has reopened but with dwindling visitor numbers, a new attaction - genetically-modified dinosaurs - is hoped to spark the imagination of the public.

In the first trailer the villain of the film was kept largely off-screen, but in the latest clip, the dinosaur in question is front and centre.
We first see Chris's Owen Grady try to understand and make a connection with the dinosaurs on the island, but soon Owen and Bryce's scientist Clare Dearing come to realise what the new creation is planning, and it's up to Chris and Bryce - along with two young theme park visitors who get caught up in the drama - to save the day.

A fan favourite, the Jurassic Park franchise has bought in new stars in Chris, who became a household name in 2014 thanks to the success of Guardians of the Galaxy.
The 35-year-old actor also starred in American comedy show Parks and Recreation and has a host of high profile roles coming up, including a remake of The Magnificent Seven.
Married to comedian Anna Faris, the pair have one child, a son named Jack. The couple have previously been open about wanting to start a family, but Anna admitted in 2012 that timing was "so hard in this industry".
Speaking to People magazine, she added: "Chris wants a big family."
