"Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday"
The BBC are investigating allegations of a "fracas with a BBC producer", and have suspended Clarkson pending the investigation.
In a statement, the broadcasting company said today: “Following a fracas with a BBC producer Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended pending an investigation. No one else has been suspended. Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday. The BBC will be making no further comment at this time.”




Clarkson has starred alongside co hosts James May and Richard Hammond since 2002, and is well known for his often controversial presenting and social media jokes.
He is yet to comment on the suspension.

Top Gear host SUSPENDED
The BBC have suspended Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson from the show after a "fracas" with a producer.
The show will not be broadcast this Sunday while the BBC investigate the allegation.
The BBC said in a statement: “Following a fracas with a BBC producer Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended pending an investigation. No one else has been suspended.
"Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday. The BBC will be making no further comment at this time.”
Clarkson was already on a warning after a series of accusations of racism.
