A breakdown van looked like it was on its way to Toytown with a tiny child-sized vehicle strapped to it on a public road
When road users saw this pick-up job, they would have been forgiven for rubbing their eyes to check they weren't hallucinating.
The hilarious pictures show what happened when a flatbed breakdown lorry was called to tow home an abandoned TOY CAR .
The brilliant episode was captured on camera by dad-of-three Jamie Dilk on Wednesday afternoon.
The 31-year-old saw the sight on Old Redbridge Road in Southampton.

"I couldn't believe my eyes. I was with a colleague in the van and he hadn't seen it at first.
"I tapped him on the shoulder and said: 'Did you see that toy car?'.
"It was all tied up on the back of the lorry the way you'd expect a proper car to be.
"It absolutely made my day. We were in stitches the whole evening after we saw it. It must have been for a toddler, maybe for someone two to four years old.
"The driver honked at us because he could see we were staring and taking a picture. I've no idea where he actually found it, but he clearly only did it for a laugh.
"There was a Toys 'R' Us a couple of miles down the road so perhaps it was abandoned near there. I didn't see any kids out looking for it anyway."
Jamie, who has three children with his partner Jodie Hodge, also 31, was in Southampton as part of a six-week residential course for his job as an apprentice lineman for energy firm SSE.
He spotted the recovery lorry at around 4.30pm on Wednesday on his way back from a training workshop with his colleague Andy Percy, 29.
Jamie, who lives in Ryde, on the Isle of Wight, said: "I wish I'd got the name of the firm who did it but I was more concerned with getting a picture.
"Andy and I were talking about it all evening. I was laughing about it for days afterwards. It's one of the greatest things I've ever seen.
"It was just the one fella in the recovery vehicle so maybe he just did it to amuse himself. Hopefully it hasn't left some poor kid without a toy to drive round in their back garden.
"It didn't even look broken. But it gave us a good laugh anyway."
