The Effect of abusive messages

Anna Sugar was hospitalised with a heart condition which was aggrivated by online social media trolls who sent her hateful messages

A model claims she was so stressed from being bombarded with abusive messages from online trolls that she suffered a heart attack .
Anna Sugar started receiving the hurtful messages - and even death threats - from Internet users after taking up pin-up modelling four years ago.
The 23-year-old, from London, says she received the hate mail on a daily basis through a modelling page she used to advertise her work.
In February 2014, she suffered a minor heart attack - something she claims was triggered by the stress of the online bullying.
But after the attack, the trolling got even worse - with anonymous users telling her she was more attractive when she was 'about to die'.

In October last year, Anna was hospitalised again with a stress-related illness and a heart condition.
Five months on, the young woman is now back at home, with her condition under control.
She is speaking out about her ordeal to raise awareness of online bullying - and to remind victims that what trolls say is no reflection on them as a person.

"The messages started pretty much as soon as I was modelling," said Anna, who started pin-up modelling while studying art and design.
