Green cliffs: The area is overshadowed by the brightly-painted cliffs

A man has reportedly painted a 900m cliff close to his house bright green - saying that it gives his nearby house better feng shui.
The original colour of the rock, which was as nature intended it, was giving his home negative energy, said Yang Zhigang, resident of Qijiang county, Chongqing, China.



The man allegedly paid a team of five or six to paint the cliff in a vivid green colour which can be seen over the treetops and across the valley from the cliff.

According to Shanghaiist, they spent a week spraying a patch measuring 2,000m sq of the 900m tall cliff.
Although the environmental authorities are investigating if there's a case for damage of the cliff, Yang says he thinks it's a vast improvement.
