'Inappropriate': Police say they will not tolerate sexual behaviour of any kind on public transport
A train pervert caught inappropriately touching himself on the tube has avoided prison after claiming he was scratching his eczema.
Kulbir Kalsi, 33, was seen performing a solo sex act on a Northern Line tube, while standing close to women on the packed train.
Kalsi, of Croydon, south London, was caught out by an off-duty British Transport Police officer at London Bridge station, who followed him after becoming suspicious of his crotch-rubbing.
The man admitted the offence at the time of his arrest, only to claim later in interview he had been itching eczema in his crotch.

He was sentenced to ten months imprisonment, suspended for 18-months, when he appeared at Blackfriars Crown Court last week.

"We will not tolerate inappropriate sexual behaviour of any kind and will do all we can to bring offenders to justice.
"We ask all rail passengers to report incidents to us so we can fully investigate."
