The brother of MP’s wife Karen Danczuk was rearrested today after two more women came forward to accuse him of sexually abusing them.

Police confirmed tonight that Michael Burke, 36, had been rearrested on suspicion of historic sexual offences following “new information coming to light”.
The security guard and divorced father of three was initially arrested last month after a complaint from Mrs Danczuk, who is married to Simon Danczuk MP.

The 31-year-old mother of two has waived her right to anonymity to claim she was raped and sexually assaulted by a family member “hundreds of times” in her childhood home between the ages of six and 12.
Mr Burke has denied the claims, saying: “The allegations are false. I’m just so shocked and disgusted by it all.”
The Mirror has learned that two more women have now made further allegations against Mr Burke.
He was rearrested this morning and taken to a Manchester police station for questioning.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “A man has been rearrested on suspicion of historic sexual offences.
“This relates to officers speaking to a woman on 16 February 2015 regarding historic sexual abuse and new information coming to light.
“He remains in police custody for questioning.”
The spokesman added: “The new information related to two separate women who have made allegations of sexual offences.”

It is not known when the fresh offences are alleged to have taken place.
But Greater Manchester Police was already investigating Mr Burke over claims that he sexually abused his sister between 1989 and 1995.
Self-proclaimed “Queen of Selfies” Mrs Danczuk has defended posting a string of revealing pictures of herself in low-cut tops as a defiant response to the sexual abuse she says she suffered as a child.

She said: “For years afterwards I felt worthless, guilty, as though I had somehow brought this on myself. But I was just a little girl.
“I was on antidepressants for years and wanted to kill myself. But my husband Simon encouraged me to have therapy and now – after intensive counselling – I have been able to get some confidence back.
Simon Danczuk has been a prominent campaigner against child sexual abuse.
He also co-wrote an acclaimed book exposing his predecessor in the Rochdale constituency, former Liberal Democrat MP Cyril Smith, as a predatory paedophile.
