The reality star is furious after Mitch decided to play a little prank while she was lying NAKED
The Geordie Shore star was flooded with messages of congratulations last night after she apparently tweeted that Mitch Jenkins had proposed, writing "OMG I SAID YES" along with engagement ring and wedding dress emojis, but it has now emerged he sent out the message himself.
Charlotte's Geordie Shore co-star Sophie Kasaei first aired her suspicions, retweeting her friend's message and adding: "MITCH GET OFF CHARLOTTES TWITTER THIS IS NOT FUNNY.(sic)"
And the 24-year-old beauty then confirmed Mitchell had played a prank and vowed he will pay the price.
She wrote: "Soooooooooooo don't ever let you Boyfriend get your phone when your drunk. I'm not engaged and believe me he will be punished today.
Charlotte's co-stars Ricci Guiarnaccio and James Tindale were even taken in by the prank, especially as Mitch had tweeted from his own account: "Only got myself a ball and chain", referring to a slang term for wife, and both sent their congratulations via twitter, only to be put straight by their friend.
The couple - who are currently holidaying in Australia - split in September after 18 months of dating but reunited a few months later.
Oh dear - see how her famous friends reacted to the fake news her.
