A disgusted woman secretly filmed Nuku Cudjoe Vanonyi Calvocoressi after she realised he was "pulling his tackle between his legs"
A disgraced teacher caught exposing himself in 'short shorts' during a train journey has been banned from the classroom.
Nuku Cudjoe Vanonyi Calvocoressi, 40, was spotted carrying out the indecent act on a busy train in June last year.
A woman sitting opposite was left "panicked" when she realised what perverted Cudjoe-Calvocoressi was up to but then decided to film him in the act.
The sex pest later admitted indecent exposure and his conviction was highlighted by our sister title Get Reading in a bid to warn others.
It can now be reported that Cudjoe-Calvocoressi is a former politics teacher at £10,000 a year St George's School in Ascot, Berks., where Winston Churchill is among former pupils.
The National Council of Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) disciplinary panel in Coventry banned him from teaching until 2019 when his five-year sex offender's notice will expire.
Chair Sarah Evans wrote: "The panel noted that Mr Cudjoe-Calvocoressi pleaded guilty to the offence, having initially denied the offence."
"He has expressed regret for his actions.
"However, his actions were deliberate and the panel did not think the fact that Mr Cudjoe-Calvocoressi had been drinking prior to the incident was a mitigating factor.
"Furthermore, Mr Cudjoe-Calvocoressi has not demonstrated insight into the consequences of his actions."
He can appeal the ruling at the High Court.
St George's School has been approached for comment.
The victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told how the vile crime happened at around 10.30pm on a Richmond to Wokingham train last year.
She said: "He sat down about half way through the journey, he was moving around the carriage a bit."
Cudjoe-Calvocoressi, settled on a seat on the opposite side of the aisle but facing towards her. He was wearing "short shorts" which drew the woman’s attention to him.
She continued: "He was looking at me, sneakily I suppose, and had his leg across his left leg facing towards me, and was pulling his tackle through his legs.
"I panicked a little bit. I didn't know what he was going to do and I didn't want him following me home."
After sending a text to her husband to inform him of what was going on, she took the brave decision to film Cudjoe-Calvocoressi on her mobile phone.
"The train was quite busy, if I had been on my own it would have been a lot different," she explained.
As the train arrived at Wokingham Station the woman's husband, who had alerted the police, was there to meet her.
He attempted to stall Cudjoe-Calvocoressi until the police arrived but ended up having to chase him.
"I felt I was lucky in terms of the fact I'm an adult and was on a busy train with my husband waiting for me," explained the woman.
"I'd hate to think of a child having gone through the same experience and not being able to speak up about it.”
Calvocoressi admitted a charge of indecent exposure and was sentenced at Reading Magistrates' Court on July 28, last year.
He was ordered to register with police for five years and pay £700 compensation.
