The family of missing teenager Becky Watts have spoken of their devastation at hearing that body parts have been found in the search for her.Her distraught father, mother, stepmother, brother and grandparents have all spoken of their pain following the grim discovery made by detectives hunting for the 16-year-old.
Becky's father and stepmother Darren and Anjie Galsworthy said: "To receive such news as we did today about our dear daughter and stepdaughter Becky is too much to bear.
"We have the support of a good family network to help us in these challenging times.
"We would ask that you treat Becky with the due reverence and allow us to come to terms with our grief in private."

Locals sobbed in the street near the spot where student Becky Watts, aged 16, was found a mile from her family home.Becky's body parts were found - almost 12 days after she vanished - in a modern mid-terrace house overlooked by a 15-storey tower block.

Detectives have been granted a further 24 hours to question a 28-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman on suspicion of murdering missing Becky Watts, Avon and Somerset Police said.A statement on their website said: "This afternoon, we have been granted a warrant of further detention regarding the two people arrested on suspicion of the murder of Becky Watts.
"During a short hearing at Bristol Magistrates' Court, officers were granted a further 24 hours to question the man and woman.

The search for Becky has been a huge police operation with officers drafted in from Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Devon and Cornwall.Police dogs from South Wales Police have also been brought in during the search while a police helicopter has been used to scour the land from the skies.
