A suspected paedophile, mumbling through a grotesquely swollen and bloodied lip, is seen begging for his life in this grim footage.
The video was posted online by the father of an 11-year-old girl the man allegedly tried to groom using messaging service Whatsapp over three months.
But the 23-year-old, from the state of Goias in Brazil, didn't realise he had been talking to the girl's father.
In the footage, the badly-injured man is shown being held by the throat and pledges to cut all contact with the girl.
He mumbles: "Never again, never again, never again."
According to Liveleak, the father replied: "You will learn from this beating that you will now take you b*****d."
The man was found dead in brushland three days later.
The video emerges just days after a mob overran a prison in north eastern India, dragged away and lynched a man accused of rape.
Shocking pictures showed 'mob rule', as scores of people crowd round the bloodied and naked man in the street.
Many took pictures of the violence with their phone cameras while some can be seen pointing and smiling at the man being attacked.
Police Constable Sunep Aier said the mob overpowered security at Dimapur CentralPrison in Nagaland yesterday.
The crowd then seized the rape suspect whom they also accused of being an illegal migrant from Bangladesh and killed him.
