Fans were looking forward to Megan McKenna making her debut on TOWIE on Sunday night but were left bitterly disappointed.
The Celebrity Big Brother star, who is now dating hunk Pete Wicks, has been slammed for 'acting like she's in a Hollywood movie' during her first scenes on the ITVBe reality show.
Viewers saw her turn up late for a Gatsby-themed party as Pete began to sweat his date had left him hanging.
When she finally turned up and admitted she was nervous to see the others, viewers accused her of reading rehearsed lines, with one tweeting: "Aw nut Megan McKenna has just proved how fake Towie is, those acting skills # TOWIE200."

Another wrote: "Worst acting award goes to Megan McKenna f*** sake."
"Urgh Megan McKenna on my screen acting like she's in a Hollywood movie Get her off please TOWIE," one also added.
Dressed in a stunning Disney princess-style dress she made her way into the hall in the venue to sit with the other cast members, including her pals Courtney Green and Chloe Meadows.

Megan was then quizzed about her relationship with Pete and he explained he was on a date with another girl when their eyes met and they ended up 'dry humping by the bar'. Blimey.
The pair admitted they'd been texting since Christmas and Megan described him as a good kisser, while her pals were unsure of them being together because he's not her usual type.
Pete was branded a 'secret squirrel' and Tommy Mallet and Chloe Sims made it clear they do NOT like Megan.

It all kicked off over the rumour Chloe Meadows and James Lock had hooked up and Chloe Sims was accused of "jumping on the band-wagon" when it came to the drama.
Danielle Armstrong then put it perfectly: "James, get me a drink.."
Despite Megan's explosive scenes, viewers weren't convinced, with one posting: "Just ruined Towie for me. Megan McKenna . Please don't make her a regular # TOWIE200."
