Tragic: Shaun Riddle with his daughter, Glory, who died from an unknown cause

A grieving couple were left gobsmacked by a waitress' simple act of kindness in a US restaurant last week.
Debbie and Shaun Riddle regularly stop by The West Side Cafe in Texas and on their most recent visit were surprised that the waitress remembered seeing them a few weeks previously.
Their server Kayla Lane asked after their baby daughter - who had been with them the last time they went to the restaurant.
But the Riddles had to tell waitress Kayla that their little tot Glory the tragic news that their baby girl had died a month ago, from an unknown cause, reports the Irish Mirror.
And evidently affected by the sad news, instead of giving the couple a typical bill at the end of their meal, the kind-hearted young woman slipped them this note.
In the note, Kayla said that the company had taken care of the bill, and that they were so sorry for the Riddles' loss.
But what the waitress didn't tell them was that she had actually paid the bill herself.
When Debbie and Shaun found out, they went straight back to the eatery to thank Kayla again.
Kayla later wrote on Facebook: "When this couple came into west side yesterday, I surprised them by remembering their faces and their lovely baby girl, Glory.
"I did pay for their meal.
"I didn't want any recognition... I just simply wanted the satisfaction of being a helping hand in a time of deep sorrow for this family.
"However... What I didn't expect is how much of a blessing their family would be to me.
"The downpour of positive words and chain of love that this story has started around the world is more than I could have ever expected and makes my heart so happy."
