The 18-year-old student vanished following a night out - her remains were later found on an abandoned farm
The man charged with the murder of a British student in the US is to face the death penalty.
Hannah Graham, 18, disappeared following a night out with friends last September.
Her last communication was a text message she sent to a pal saying she was "lost" at around 1am.
Following a huge search, Hannah's remains were found on an abandoned farm near Charlottesville, Virginia, in October.
Jesse Leroy Matthew Jr. has been charged with Hannah's kidnap and murder and the state prosecutor said yesterday she will be seeking the death penalty.
