Ladies and gentleman after months of excitement and speculation – Fifty Shades Of Grey finally gets it’s premiere tonight at the Berlin Film Festival.
The film's stars - Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson and more – have flocked to Berlin for the big occasion, alongside director Sam Taylor-Johnson.
Earlier today some lucky critics got the chance to watch the film, which is based on the novel by E.L James, for the first time and the overall sentiment seemed to be that there was a lack of sex!
Anyway for those of you who didn’t get your invite in the post but are quivering with excitement at the prospect of the film – we’ve got all of the best bits from the red carpet.
The day has finally come for Fifty Shades of Grey fans, who have been eagerly anticipating the Sam Taylor-Johnson movie which is based on the BDSM-trilogy by E.L. James.
Fifty Shades of Grey stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as well as the highly-anticipated movie’s director Sam Taylor Johnson and the ‘mummy porn’ writer EL James all walked the red carpet at Berlin Film Festival for its world premiere.
Sam Taylor Johnson insisted that she wasn’t going to read ANY reviews – it’s her golden rule.
Dakota Johnson, who plays innocent Anastasia Steele, revealed why she thought the premiere was packed full of women.
Jamie Dornan was supported by his wife Amelia Warner as hundreds of screaming fans called his name. But fame won’t change him.
Both Sam and Dakota slammed feminist claims that the movie is misogynistic, with the director saying: “I feel like I empower this woman.”
The night has finally come
The night has finally arrived for Fifty Shades of Grey fans around the world as the movie’s cast will attend its world premiere tonight.
Jamie Dornan, who plays Christian Grey, and Dakota Johnson as the innocent Anastasia Steele, are expected to be walking the red carpet at at the annual film festival in the German capital.
The movie, which is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, is based on E.L James’ bestselling ‘mummy porn’ trilogy that took the world by storm.
Unfortunately the movie hasn’t been a hit with critics, with Variety critic Justin Chang calling it “less-than-scintillating”, but it looks like a fan pleaser as Kim Kardashian gave it the double thumbs up as she excitedly tweeted: 'Girls night watching a private screening of Fifty Shades of Grey!!!!!! OMG it's sooooo good!!!!!”
Fans have been waiting all day on the red carpet
Some fans have been waiting for hours to catch the stars on the red carpet, even as early as this afternoon.
One fan tweeted in Spanish from the red carpet this afternoon: "In Berlin, they are already preparing the red carpet for Fifty Shades of Grey".
And that was at lunchtime.
Jamie Dornan gets support from his wife
Jamie Dornan's wife Amelia Warner was seen flying in to Berlin ahead of the premiere tonight - he recently praised his wife for being so calm as he got his kit off for Fifty Shades.
Speaking in the new UK issue of OK! magazine, he said: "My wife is a brilliant, hugely understanding person. She was an actress for 10 years, so she's aware of what it's like. A lot of people would have had a s**t fit at 30-something weeks pregnant hearing, 'Darling, we're going to Vancouver this week for four months - we're going to have a Canadian baby and I'm going to do a film where, for parts of it, I will be naked.'
That's a tough pitch, but my wife is an incredible person."

E.L. James touched down in the German capital yesterday, and has been enjoyed being a tourist visiting the Berlin Wall and drinking the beer.
Sex film SLAMMED for being too 'vanilla'
It was hotly-anticipated to be one of the sexiest movies ever to have graced the cinemas - if not THE sexiest. But now it looks as thoughit COULD miss the mark as some critics claim the film is too "vanilla" - which is a word you don't want when it comes to Fifty Shades.

Fifty Shades producer Dana Brunetti shared a pic from inside their hotel.

Berlin Film Festival admits that he was keen to get his hands on Fifty Shades of Grey as he claims it's the ONLY screening all of the cast will attend (with the exception of the New York screening earlier this week).
Dieter Kosslick said: “Why shouldn’t we have Fifty Shades of Grey? Why don’t we have fun with this sex?”

Jamie Dornan will be friends for life with his co-star Dakota Johnson and director Sam Taylor-Johnson.
The actor didn't make a mention of E.L. James, but he said: “We’re proud of it, we want people to see it."
Of all the craziness surrounding him, Jamie insisted that "the main core" of his life isn't going to change despite the fan frenzy.
"I always say this, at the core, nothing’s going to change in my life. I’m married, I have a baby," he said.
Dakota hits back at feminists who hate Fifty Shades
Dakota Johnson was asked what she thought about the people who slam Fifty Shades claiming that Anastasia is subjected to abuse.
"No person is abused in the movie," she said. "It’s a close-minded outlook."
Sam Taylor Johnson is NOT going to read any reviews
Speaking on the red carpet, Sam revealed her "golden rule".
"I don’t read naything. It’s a golden rule to live by," she explained.
"People do keep telling me little bits. I’m like 'shhh I don’t want to hear'."
There's not a sequel.... yet!
Despite THREE books in the Fifty Shades series - movie bosses HAVEN'T given a sequel the green light just yet.
On the red carpet, director Sam Taylor-Johnson said: “It’s not official. I can imagine they are waiting to see how this one does”
And then she said she MAY consider returning.
